WebMache, a leading provider of on-demand, click-and-publish software to help businesses and organizations build and manage their online web presence is looking for a talented web developer to work on several short-term, contract projects with a potential for a long-term opportunity.
The qualified candidate should possess a strong command of the following:
* Experience with web programming, specifically ASP.Net, C#
* Experience with database design and management, specifically MS SQL Server
* Experience with XMLHttpRequest/AJAX and the JQuery JavaScript library required
* Ability to hand-code standards-compliant XHTML and CSS
* Ability to hand-code DOM-based, object-oriented, unobtrusive JavaScript
* Understanding of MVC architecture helpful, but not required
* Understand how to develop interfaces that comply with accessibility guidelines
* Possess a keen eye for IA, design (this is not a design position, however), and usability
* Be detail-oriented in all facets of work, from code to communications
* Be self-sufficient, taking ownership of work assigned
